iPad 2 Jailbreak Coming Soon

iPad 2 News

Apple has really made it harder for the dev team to get this jailbreak going for the ipad 2. It has been weeks now and we are still waiting for the jailbreakme.com to realease the open source jailbreak. At least if this rumor is correct this is a good thing. Having the open source jailbreak will allow developers to be able to have easier ways to apply apps to the jailbreak. As per reports, Apple has taken some key steps to stop the overwhelming tendency toward jailbreaking. With iOS 5, some reports tell that you won’t be able to roll the firmware back to a previous version. This has been an advantage that we as jailbreakers have had for some time. We can use tinyumbrella and downgrade the firmware in order to rollback to a prweviouse firmware in order to have our jailbreaks available.

Meanwhile, iOS jailbreakers like iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team are working hard to develop a better exploit for Apple iPad 2, the Cupertino technology company’s second-gen tablet PC. Though released two months back, iPad 2 has not yet received a better hack for the device.

Comex of iPhone Dev Team is working to design an update for its JailbreakMe 3.0. The new version of the jailbreak will help users simply hack iPad. On just clicking a PDF link on the Web, you can the find the device jailbroken. According to what has being speculated all users will have to do to jailbreak their ipad 2 using jailbreakme.com is click a link and follow the on screen instructions.

“The new changes will occur once iOS 5 becomes official but what’s important here is that all current iDevices, up to the iPad 2, will be jailbreakable for life even after iOS 5 arrives,” said iPhone Dev in its press statement.
I personally think that apples goal is to stop jailbreaking at all cost. I really don't see the harm after all we did purchase the device we should be ablke to do as we please. Jailbreaking was illegal for a while but has now been legalized so i say, "whats the big deal Apple???" Let us enjoy this fabulous piece of technology you have created.
